As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks related to apartment occupancy, building maintenance, move-ins, move-outs, unit turns, work orders, HVAC repair, plumbing, drywall, and providing exceptional customer service. Your technical expertise and dedication to quality workmanship will contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS:
- Complete work orders on timely basis.
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Complete unit turns/make readies to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins. Complete pre-move-out inspection, schedule vendors and contractors as needed,
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Check, troubleshoot and repair the following items: appliances, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, electrical.
- Inspect the community on a regular basis and report any needs to the Service Director.
- Participate in all community maintenance duties, including; preventative maintenance, service request completion, and grounds keeping.
- Handle emergencies that arise with appropriate communication and reporting follow up.
- Complete documentation and other paperwork on time with accuracy to ensure service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
- Conduct business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience using equipment, supplies, and materials used in the maintenance field.
- Excellent customer service and passion for helping people.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 90 pounds.
- Attention to safety and ability to comply with all MSDA Sheets.
- Good communication and attention to detail.
